::The room.was good, clean and modern. The shower curtain came across so close it stuck to.us every time and the floor flooded. Staff were friendly and polite. Sorry to report we got stuck in the lift for 15 to 20 minutes. Very little air and Reception unable to help us. Young lady also in lift was getting very upset. I had to force door open. I appreciate this can happen anywhere but response needs to be much better and lift clearly needs servicing. We noted it was back.working within a few hours so I doubt the real fault has been mended. Staff did alogise but it pretty much ruined our stay to be honest .

::My room was simple (few amenities), small, clean, and for the most part, in good working order. The WIFI was down for the first three days of my visit, which I found frustrating. Staff gave me several WIFI status updates, none of which corresponded to anyone else's status updates. At least get your stories straight, otherwise it just sounds like BS! If not for the WIFI issue during my stay, I'd give 4 stars. You can't beat the location. Tram stop right in front. Five minute walk from the train station that leads to the airport. Twenty minute walk (or four-stop tram ride) to the bars and restaurants in trendy spots of the Trastevere district. Lots of bakeries, convenience stores, shops, etc. within a couple of blocks of this hotel, but without the touristy prices. Great (!!) pub almost directly across the street. Overall, my experience was positive, notwithstanding one small, but highly frustrating, issue.

::B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere is an excellent hotel, located close to public transportation (trolley one half block away takes you to center of Rome. Train three blocks away takes you anywhere in Rome including the airport. Staff is tremendously helpful, stored our bags when we went to Naples for two days, gave us advice on places to visit and how to get there. Room was very clean and breakfast was excellent. An additional charming feature: the hotel is located right next to a Catholic school and if you have the right room, you can hear the childrens' voices, also chanted prayers in the church.

::The room was large and adequate for our four day stay in Rome. It was a good base for our exploration. We loved the location. Trastevere has so much to offer in terms of cafes and restaurants and it wasn't as crowded as other parts of the city we visited. This hotel is also a 4 minute walk to the train which was handy. The hotel is nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. There was an odd (unpleasant) odour in the bathroom on the second day but it seemed to dissipate in subsequent days. Everything else was fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend spending the money on the breakfast; it was fine but very very basic. All in all, we were pleased with this hotel in terms of cost, location and amenities.
