::Hotel Barocco was incredibally awesome. The room was ready when we got there and the crib for our 1 year old was set up. They got the room for my wife's parents right next to us. The hotel itself is situated within walking distance from the subway directly to the Vatican and you only need to switch at Termini to get to the Colosseum. The hotel is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. What a better time to come than on Rome's birthday.

::This is the best hotel if you want to stay in the center of city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good with a huge variety to choose from.

::Stayed here for one night but was extremely comfortable. Location was fantastic, walking distance from the Spanish steps and the main shopping areas. Staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean with good sound proofing (a little tight but that's generally normal in Europe). Breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from. The only thing that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars was that the heating was central. Meaning they control the temperature for the whole hotel (I was there in the winter). It was a bit too warm for me, opened up the window a few times to lower the temperature. Not sure if it's the same for the AC in the summer.
