  I came to the Wednesdays Pope Audience. It was a easier and organized. I arrived at 7am to pick up the tickets, the doors were open right before 8am and I was seated by 8:30am. It gets crowded and seating feels up quickly so don't be late. The Pope arrived at around 9:30am and after strolling around welcoming and blessing people the ceremony began at 10am and finished by 11am. At least at this time of the year, you don't need to buy a tour to get in.
